CONGRATULATIONS
To Mike Tunnell, whose book WISHING MOON is on the master lists for both the Beehive Book Award and the Nebraska Golden Sower Award (both in YA categories).

To Rick Walton, whose poem "Four" will be among the recitations spoken by a fund raising sculpture robot (who speaks to you when you drop money in his mouth" at the Omniplex Science Museum in Oklahoma City. The working title for the sculpture is "PoetBot and Pet". Some early "in-process" images are on a page here

April 19, 2006--Kim Williams-Justesen will be presenting at Taylorsville High 

April 20, 2006-- Julie Olson will be speaking in at the Jordan School District to Parents, Teachers and Librarians.

April 20, 2006 -- Rick Walton will be visiting Oakridge Elementary during the day and Sandy Elementary in the evening.

April 27--Chris Crowe will be at Davis High School.

April 27-28, 2006--Rick Walton will be speaking at Wellsville Elementary.

April 28, 2006--Heritage Writers Guild of St. George will host an afternoon workshop in the Social Hall. Mimi White, poet laureate of Portsmouth, NH will be featured, along with six other presenters. Contact Ann Kearns, at kearns@infowest.com for details.

April 29, 2006--Gloria Skurzynski and Alane Ferguson will be in Great Smoky National Park to research a new National Parks mystery novel for National Geographic to be published in spring of 2007.

May 18th-21, 2006--Kim Williams Justesen will be the featured author for Tanglewood Press at Book Expo America in Washington, D.C.

May 5, 2006--Ken Bake will visit at Julia Randall Elementary in Payson, Arizona.

June 11-17, 2006--Guy Francis, Chris Crowe, Carol Lynch Williams, Rick Walton, Randall Wright, and others will be participating in the BYU Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers workshop.
