to Mike Tunnell, whose book WISHING MOON is a finalist for the Utah Book Award and on the master list for the Utah Children's Book Award.

to Shannon Hale, whose book ENNA BURNING is a finalist for the Utah Book Award, was chosen by the New York Public Library as a Best Book for the Teen Age, and received the Association for
Mormon Letters Young Adult Book Award.

to Chris Crowe, whose book MISSISSIPPI TRIAL, 1955 is a 2005-2006 Beehive Book Award Nominee, Young Adult Category; a 2005 Finalist for the Louisiana Young Readers Choice List for grades 6-8; a 2005-2006 Iowa Teen Choice Award nominee; and a 2006 Arizona Young Readers' Award Nominee, Teen Book Category.

to Randall Wright, whose book HUNCHBACK received an honorable mention for Midgrade novel from the Association for Mormon Letters.

April 1, 2005--Deseret Book and the Ogden School Foundation will be hosting Anne Bowen as she speaks to third graders in the Ogden City school district at Gramercy Elementary.

April 1-3, 2005--Gloria Skurzynski will be signing at the National Science Teachers Association annual conference in Dallas, Texas.

April 5--Obert Skye will be speaking in the Granite School District schools.

April 6-8, 2005--Shannon Hale will be at the Texas Library Association annual conference in Austin.

April 7-8, 2005--Chris Crowe will be speaking to Drew Middle School and A.G. Wright Middle School in Falmouth, VA.

April 9, 2005--Carol Lynch Williams will be the keynote speaker at the Colorado SCBWI Spring Conference.

April 11, 2005--Becky Hall will be speaking to the Mt. Jordan Middle School professional development classes.

April 12, 2005--PRINCESS DIARIES author Meg Cabot (honorary Utah author for the day) will be signing at The King's English Bookshop, 1511 South 1500 East, SLC, at 7:00 pm.

April 13-16, 2005--Gloria Skurzynski will be in Cocoa, Florida, speaking in schools.

April 18, 2005--Gloria Skurzynski will be speaking at Crossroads Middle School in Boise.

April 18-19, 2005--Ron Woods will be visiting Pinedale High School, in Pinedale, Wyoming.

April 19, 2005--Rick Walton will be signing at Emerson Elementary's reading night in Salt Lake City.

April 19, 2005--Ken Baker will be visiting Muscoy Elementary in San Bernardino, CA.
