March 3, 2005--Ken Baker, Bob Bedore, Anne Bowen, James Dashner, Sharlee Glenn, Becky Hall, Mette Ivie Harrison, Tracy and Laura Hickman, Sherry Meidell, L.E. Modessit, Jr., Eric Swedin, Rick Walton, Carol Lynch Williams, and Dave Wolverton will be signing books at UELMA, at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, at 4:00 pm.

March 6-8, 2005--Gloria Skurzynski, Alane Ferguson and Chris Crowe will be speakers at the 37th Annual Children's Literature Festival at Central Missouri State University.

March 9, 2005--Homer Hickham will be speaking in Davis County schools.

March 13, 2005--Chris Crowe will be speaking to the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals in Tan Terra, MO.

March 16, 2005--Mark Buehner will be at Northlake Elementary at 7:00 pm.

March 17-18, 2005--UVSC/SCBWI Forum on Children & Literature. Main guests include JULIE OF THE WOLVES author Jean Craighead George, illustrator Wendell Minor, and BloomsburyUSA editor Melanie Cecka. March 24, 2005--Rick Walton will be visiting Eaglecrest Elementary in Lehi.

March 29, 2005--Obert Skye will be speaking to the Ogden School District 6th graders.

March 29-31, 2005--Sherry Meidell will have art represented in the 2005 Celebration of Art & Soup at the Sheraton City Centre in Salt Lake.

April 1, 2005--Deseret Book and the Ogden School Foundation will be hosting Anne Bowen as she speaks to third graders in the Ogden City school district

April 1-3, 2005--Gloria Skurzynski will be signing at the National Science Teachers Association annual conference in Dallas, Texas.

April 5--Obert Skye will be speaking in the Granite School District schools.
April 6-8, 2005--Shannon Hale will be at the Texas Library Association annual conference in Austin.

April 7-8, 2005--Chris Crowe will be speaking to Drew Middle School and A.G. Wright Middle School in Falmouth, VA.

April 9, 2005--Carol Lynch Williams will be the keynote speaker at the Colorado SCBWI Spring Conference.

April 19-21, 2005--Chris Crowe will be speaking to middle schools in Hoover, AL.

April 20, 2005--Rick Walton will be at Westside Elementary School in Springville.

April 20, 2005--Anne Bowen will be at Bunderson Elementary in Brigham City.

April 22, 2005--Ken Baker will be visiting Simmons Elementary in Garden Grove, CA.

4 wasted years at the University of Utah (with lots of partying and fun times in the Musical Theater dept.)
BA - English/Theater double major - Westminster College
MFA - Writing for Children - Vermont College

PLACES LIVED: 
Murray, Utah; Sugarhouse, Utah; Holladay, Utah; Salt Lake City, Utah; Sandy, Utah; and North Carolina for summer visits throughout my childhood and adolescence.
